2017 Holiday Gift Guides

We all know that Christmas shopping can be overwhelming, but these holiday gift guides should help make the job just a little bit easier.

Can you believe the holidays are here?! Snowman shaped sugar cookies, twinkle lights, and peppermint hot cocoa are now officially in season…which means it’s also time to start Christmas shopping (unless you’re already on top of that, then kudos to you!). But, if braving the cold weather and crowds sounds frightening to you, I avoid stores like the plague at this time of year, never fear! I’ve created a few gift guides to help you conquer the holiday shopping, and you don’t even have to step outside. Win. Plus, most of the items can be purchased on Amazon Prime, because, who doesn’t love free TWO-DAY shipping?! And you’ll still get your gifts in time for Christmas even if you are a last minute shopper (guilty!).

It’s time to pull out your laptop, crank up the Christmas tunes and sip on a nice, warm mug of hot cocoa by the fireplace. You’ll have that shopping done in no time!

GIFTS FOR THE WORLD TRAVELER

World Globe | Blanket Scarf | Mountain Necklace | Hydro Flask | Phone Camera Lens | Beanie | World Watch | The Secret Life of Walter Mitty | Travel Bottles | Wrap Headband | GoPro | Beats | Toms | Passport Cover | Gorilla Pod | Travel Journal | Instax Instant Film Camera | Scratch Off Map | Backpacking Bag

MY FAVORITES

Toms: I don’t leave on any trip without a pair of Toms. These are seriously the comfiest and easiest shoes for travel! No more worrying about laces while going through security. Plus, add some inserts like these and you will never have sore feet from all that walking. This would be the perfect gift for that world traveler in the family.

Blanket Scarf: Not only does this scarf help you travel in style, but it also doubles as a great blanket on a 12-hour flight. What’s not to like?

Beats:  I love my pair of Beats. They are lifesavers for watching movies or listening to music on a long flight. They may not be completely noise-cancelling, but they are so much better than messing with a tangled pair of earbuds that don’t stay in most of the time.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty: Anyone who loves to travel will appreciate this film. This was actually the movie that inspired Jacob and I to start traveling the world. Even though we’ve both seen it so many times, it is still one of our favorites!

Scratch Off Map: Jacob and I received a scratch off map for Christmas last year, and we’ve had so much fun scratching off all of the countries and states we’ve visited. It’s a unique way to keep track of all of the places you’ve visited.

GIFTS FOR THE FOODIE FANATIC

Instant Pot | AeroGarden | BlendTec | Cast Iron Skillet | Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer | Spiralizer | Dutch Oven | Bundt Pan | Silpat Mat | Bronze Mugs | Ramekins | Olive Oil Bottle | Marble Rolling Pin | Hello Fresh Subscription Box | Black Truffle Sea Salt | Crepe Pan | Round Cutters | Cookie Scoop | Marble Mortar and Pestle | Kitchen Torch | Mini Bundt Pan

MY FAVORITES

Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer: This is really an appliance no kitchen should go without. I use my mixer for everything. Bread, pizza dough, cookies, candy, you name it. There’s no baking job this appliance can’t handle!

Silpat Mat: Every baker will appreciate a silpat. Silpat mats can do anything that parchment paper can, but they can be used over and over again.

Mini Bundt Pan: I just think these are adorable. I mean, what’s not to like about mini bundt cakes?

Bronze Mugs: These mugs are beautiful AND effective at keeping drinks hot or cold.

BlendTec: I personally think these are one of the best blenders on the market. Anyone who loves a good smoothie, homemade ice cream or fresh almond butter needs to have a Blendtec in their kitchen.

GIFTS FOR THE TECH ENTHUSIAST

Ecobee Smart Thermostat | August Smart Lock | Canon 6D | Tile Pro | Charging Dock | Apple Watch | DJI Spark | 50 mm 1.8 lens | Phillips Hue Smart Light | Apple Airpods | Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse | Vanguard Tripod | Portable Phone Printer | Marshall Bluetooth Speaker | My Smart Blinds Automation Kit | Google Home | Apple TV

MY FAVORITES

50 mm 1.8 lens: This is the first lens I purchased for my camera, and it has been one of my absolute favorites. This lens is also a great price for a camera lens, which makes it the perfect gift for the photographer in your family.

Phillips Hue Smart Light: One of the first things Jacob and I purchased when we moved into our new home was a set of Phillips Hue Smart Lights. These Smart Lights can be controlled right from your smart phone, a must-have in any smart home.

Apple TV: I really can’t say enough good things about the Apple TV. It is so easy to use, and it can be controlled from your iPhone. If you already have other Apple products in your home, you need to add the Apple TV to your collection.

Apple Watch: I was a little hesitant about getting an Apple Watch at first, but my watch has been the perfect complement to my iPhone. Not only does this watch track my exercise (and it encourages me to walk more), but it alerts me of incoming texts or phone calls, and I can control my music right from my wrist. It really is the perfect gift for anyone!

August Smart Lock: Do you ever find yourself all cozy in bed only to realize you forgot to lock the front door? I hate that feeling. But the August Lock makes it easy to lock your door from anywhere with the help of your smartphone. The August Lock is the perfect addition to any smart home, and tech fans are sure to love it!

MY FAVORITES

Tripod Lamp: This lamp looks stunning in any living room, office or studio. Any designer is sure to love it.

Black Felt Letter Board: Know someone who loves quotes or just unique home decor? This is the gift for them.

Vintage Canvas Camera Bag: It’s time to add some style to your photography equipment! Any photographer in your family is sure to love this beautiful, vintage camera bag.

Letterpress Cookie Cutters: Aren’t these amazing? I absolutely love letterpress art, but these clever cookie cutters take things to the next level, and the creative baker in your family is sure to enjoy them.

Happy shopping!
